MSC United began participating in the AYSA Youth Academy program in the Fall of 2013. The purpose of this program is to emphasize individual player development and individual technical development. This is a great program designed by AYSA and we are excited to be a part of a better system for developing younger players.
How is the MSC United Academy structured?
The Academy program will be overseen by our Academy Director, Jim Parsons who will work with our staff coaches to develop age appropriate curriculum. Teams will practice twice per week with a staff coach, beginning in September and continue through March. There will be two seasons of game play, one in the Fall and the other in the Spring. Each season will consist of 8-10 games played on Saturdays. In addition, we have added at least 4 tournaments for each team to play in during the year.
How are teams formed?
We will form teams in each age group U6 through U12 and there will be no tryouts. We will accept all players into the program dependent upon space.
How do I sign up:

MSC United players and teams are developed using fundamental coaching techniques taught by experienced and highly qualified coaches with United States Soccer Federation (USSF) A, B, C, D and E licenses. The program places emphasis on developing the total soccer player through techniques aimed at technical skill development and game tactics comprehension. Also important are the experiences of the players and their families as they get exposed to club level competitive soccer and while they transition to a higher level of play. So, if you are ready for the challenge of competitive soccer, come on out!
